Located in northern Italy, Trentino is a small but beautiful wine-growing region that stretches between Lake Garda and South Tyrol. The landscape is characterized by large forests, numerous glacial lakes and dolomites. Less steep slopes than in South Tyrol and a mild climate provide optimal conditions for viticulture. lagrein is a grape variety indigenous to South Tyrol, impressing with its aromas of wild berries, fresh cherries and violets. On the palate, it has a velvety fullness and soft acidity. Noble spicy notes from ageing in small oak barrels give the best selections extra charm and character.
