Located in northern Italy, Trentino is a small but beautiful wine-growing region that stretches between Lake Garda and South Tyrol. The landscape is characterized by large forests, numerous glacial lakes and dolomites. Less steep slopes than in South Tyrol and a mild climate provide optimal conditions for viticulture. lagrein is a grape variety indigenous to South Tyrol, impressing with its aromas of wild berries, fresh cherries and violets. On the palate, it has a velvety fullness and soft acidity. Noble spicy notes from ageing in small oak barrels give the best selections extra charm and character. In its rosé version, the wine is also called 'lagrein kretzer'. wine characteristics: In the glass, the wine is a dense ruby-red color. On the nose, it is berry-like, with a delicate hint of vanilla.
