The winemaker
Since taking over the family estate at the age of 19, Elisabetta Foradori has made it her mission to elevate her region to the rank of Italy's finest. The estate was bought by her father in 1934 and produced its first vintage in 1960. Some twenty years later, the winemaker died, and his wife managed the estate until her daughter graduated in oenology. The Foradori estate covers 28 hectares. The winemaker makes wines from Teroldego (an old Italian grape variety), Manzoni Bianco, Nosiola and Pinot Grigio. The vineyard is currently undergoing conversion to biodynamic viticulture.
