The winemaker

Villa Cosmiana is the former Pisan wine estate of the prestigious Antinori family of the Dukes of Brindisi. Surrounding an aristocratic villa and sumptuous Italian-style gardens are 11 hectares of vineyards planted with Tuscan and Bordeaux grape varieties, from which three traditional Tuscan wines and two Super Tuscan wines made by renowned oenologist Barbara Tamburini, winner of the Oscar for Italy's Best Oenologist 2019, are produced in cellars and wineries steeped in history. Respect for tradition, scrupulous restoration of historic buildings and vineyards, and oenological innovations are the watchwords of an estate entirely devoted to wine, art and Tuscany.
