Deep ruby-red color, tending toward garnet after long aging. Winey bouquet with a delicate floral fragrance. Harmonious, velvety, round taste. Harvesting begins in the first half of September. This is followed by traditional vinification at controlled temperatures between 25°c and 27°c. The wine is further refined in steel vats before being marketed at a relatively young age. The casa vinicola botter winery was founded in 1928 by carlo botter in fossalta di piave, 30 km northeast of venice. With the arrival of the second generation, the founder's sons arnaldo, enzo and giovanni in 1958, the wines were marketed in bottles. Today, botter is run by the third generation of different family tribes, and exports account for around 90% of production in over 40 countries.
