The winemaker

The Cantine San Marzano winery is located in the Puglia region of southern Italy. Founded in 1962, it is one of the region's largest and most renowned wine producers. The vineyard covers more than 1,200 hectares and is located in the production zone of Primitivo di Manduria, a wine appellation renowned for its rich, concentrated red wines.

Cantine San Marzano's vineyards are planted on clay and limestone soils, benefiting from a warm, dry climate characteristic of the Puglia region. The vineyard uses sustainable viticulture techniques, with great attention paid to the quality of the grapes produced. Varieties grown include Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera and Fiano.

Cantine San Marzano is known for producing high-quality wines, which have won numerous awards and distinctions over the years. The red wines are rich in red fruit, cherry and spice flavors, with supple tannins and a lingering finish. The white wines are fresh and fruity, with notes of citrus and white flowers.

The winery also has an aging cellar, where wines are aged in French oak barrels before bottling. Cantine San Marzano wines are exported all over the world and are appreciated by wine lovers the world over.
