Giorgio rivetti is one of the Piedmont's leading lights. He is the center of the 'barolo boys', a group of dynamic and extremely successful winemakers: altare, clerico, sandrone, scavino, etc. Giorgio rivetti is originally from astigiano. His 'house wine' is therefore a moscato d'asti. But for some years now, he has been concentrating more on red wines. His first big hit was 'pin', a barrel-aged blend of barbera and nebbiolo. He called it pin because his father was called that by everyone in the village. Pin 1990 immediately won the coveted three glasses of gambero rosso. After Pin, Giorgio Rivetti turned his attention to Barbaresco. Three truly great wines from three different crus were born: gallina, starderi and valeirano. For the labels, he chose Dürer's rhinoceros to make it clear that his barbaresco is a wine full of original strength. It was clear that Giorgio would not leave Barolo to one side. He bought vineyards and built a new winery near grinzane cavour, which he called campé della spinetta. This is where his Barolo Campé comes from. A wine of rare density and concentration. For the Barolo, he chose the lion by Dürer, because it's a wine that embodies not only great strength, but also elegance. Allergene:enthält sulfite
