An elite winemaker whose small La Morra estate boasts ideally located plots, Roberto and his son produce wines of inimitable elegance in their youth, which age perfectly. A major reference in Piedmont's vineyards. Production of 1500 to 3000 bottles of each Barolo cru alone, now partly aged in foudres, more elegant than ever. Brunate is an adjoining cru to Cerequio, but its predominantly east-sout... heast exposure gives it a very different personality, especially as its soil contains a higher proportion of limestone. This parcel is one of the smallest on the estate, barely one hectare, so production is very low. In micro-harvest years like 2014, production doesn't even reach 700 bottles.... Read more
