Trained by jean-claude lapalu in beaujolais and dominique belluard in savoie, among others, sylvère trichard took over his uncle's 4 hectares of vines in blace, in the heart of beaujolais, in 2012. The domaine was already committed to biodynamic viticulture, and sylvère naturally pursued this approach, but beyond his convictions and his vision of wine, it's above all listening and feeling that guide his choices. His own words say it all: "Don't try to do in the cellar what you can't do in the vineyard. All my work as a winegrower is based on this phrase. Small yields, organic farming; with good grapes, vinification takes care of itself: no yeast, no sulfur, no sulfur for ageing either. The aim is to make wines that are easy to digest, light and lively. All to respect my environment, as well as the consumer. With this approach, I feel more like a wine craftsman than a farmer. cuvée gisous is a tribute to sylvère trichard's grandmother, and is made from the finest old vines of domaine séléné.
