The winemaker

An estate on a human scale, because that's my desire and my philosophy. With the exception of the harvest, I do all the work in the vineyard and in the winery myself. The estate's wines celebrate the authenticity of grape varieties, expressed through respect for nature. All the estate's wines come from our organically farmed plots. The grapes are hand-picked, in crates, to preserve their quality right through to vatting. No inputs are used before, during or after vinification. Vinification takes place naturally, thanks to the yeasts present in the grapes. All winemaking is gentle and manual, without the use of pumps or machines. Regular checks and impeccable hygiene mean that no oenological products are used. Allowing time to take its course is the best way to give life to a wine that is whole and true to its identity and terroir. Non-filtration contributes to the elaboration of wines that are distinctive, racy and flavorful. Wines lighten through sedimentation. Plantavin wines are therefore produced on a small-scale, confidential basis (maximum 3,000 bottles per cuvée).
