Château barouillet - pécharmant 2018le château barouillet is located à pomport, in the dordogne. It has been a family estate for 8 generations, managed today by grandfather yves alexis, father gérard alexis and son vincent alexis. The 45-hectare vineyard is divided into 5 blocks: 20 hectares of montbazillac, 9 hectares of bergerac rouge, 5 hectares of pécharmant, 1 hectare of côtes de bergerac moe... lleux and 9 hectares for dry white vinification. A great deal of work has gone into organic farming, with the entire estate certified or in cinversion in 2014. This organic process is accompanied by biodynamic treatments.le pécharmant is a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc grown on a terroir of deep white clay with sand and pebbles. Each grape is vinified separately. Maceration is gentle and lasts 20 to 30 days.
