The winemaker

Clos des Figuiers is an artisanal, family-run winery in the Côtes de Duras appellation. Here, the emphasis is on single grape varieties, using only Merlot for the red wines and Sauvignon for the whites. For more than 10 years, we've been practicing organic farming, hand-picking and maturing in barrels, producing delicate, aromatic white wines and complex, intensely fruity reds.
