Vineyard near Toulouse, AOC Fronton is located on a land boulbènes and serious old terraces of the Tarn. It is this vineyard that the Ribes family strives to produce wines with passion strong character! The history of the Domaine Roc is primarily that of a family and a united team where everyone finds his place. Jean Luc took over the family property in 1981, joined by Fred and Cathy in 1988 and in 1995 by Pierre. Passionate about music and life, Jean Luc who handles the vine. A true pioneer in the field of weed, all the vines is grassed in 1981, and during the winter, are the sheep grazing area in the plots. Given the different terroirs of the field, he will find his "key soil" thus distinguishing the plot to make the different vintages. Then it's Frederick, the former biochemistry student, who masterfully orchestrate the different tanks. Thanks to him, and with the help of Peter, the different wines each found their expression. The grape varieties are balanced around 3 varieties: Négrette still dominant, Syrah and Cabernet. Traditional vinification with long maceration and time as ally are proof of the revelation of the soil. Nature and culture ...... the result is in the glass: our wines are fruity, genuine and generous.
