The winemaker
The Chanade is a 40-hectare property on the Cordes plateau 320 meters above sea level where the clay-limestone soil and sunny climate promotes the development of the vine. The vineyards of Gaillac is among the oldest in France. In the soil, three factors determine the quality of wines, products of nature! The character of the grape varieties used, the environment in which they grow (soil & underground) and the micro climate. Our vineyard benefits from the influence Mediterranean and Atlantic, clay and limestone soil restores the heat of the sun that will allow optimum ripeness of the grapes. Traditional methods of tillage and the exclusive use of biological products for the treatment of vines are used, as well as weed and green harvesting with a priority objective for the control of yields! Harvested by hand, using the latest technologies, natural wine without added chemical yeasts and without fining or filtration for red wines, guarantee high quality wines!
