The winemaker

The soil on which the Château Les Donats operates is heavy with history. In fact, not far away are the ruins of an old establishment belonging to famous Templars. But the vine was imposed in this place for 20 years. The purpose of the field is to produce wines as faithfully reflecting the typical characteristics of the terroir of Bergerac. This has increased since the engineer-oenologist Olivier Verhelst joined the team as a winemaker. He was able to bring new technologies that preserve all the characteristics of the grapes and the soil.
