The winemaker

The terroir of the left bank of the Tarn

In an eco-responsible approach, Château Joliet is cultivated on 25 hectares. While the traditional Fronton PDO grape, Négrette, is in the majority, it also grows alongside Cabernets, Syrah, Muscat and Semillon. Négrette is a very unusual grape variety, with an almost black color, which makes hard work all the more necessary for the vineyard owners, as it is a capricious variety.

The wines of Château Joliet

As you tackle Château Joliet, you'll want to try the 100% Négrette red, with its deep cherry-red color and subtle aromatic bouquet. Rounder, the Château Joliet red is unanimously appreciated. The dry white wine from Domaine Joliet, with its green tints, has a floral bouquet. Finally, a muscat rosé wine, "Dolce Vita", offers freshness combined with complex aromas.
