    In a few words ...

Graal Sanctus is vinified exclusively on 7 selected hectares of exceptional terroirs. The vines benefit from a south-facing exposure that gives this wine all its charm. Harvesting is done by hand. Aged in extra-fine French oak barrels for 24-26 months.

    Bettane & Dessauve Critique professionnel

This ambitious cuvée reveals sophisticated, intriguing aromas of cocoa powder, black fruits and spices. The palate is voluminous, concentrated and velvety, with perfectly extracted tannins. A fine wine in the making. The style of this cuvée improves from vintage to vintage.

Sumptuous. Dark in color, but also shimmering. A nose of very ripe black berries and damp earth. A festival on the palate, confirming the nose, and stretching in length throughout a palette of ripe fruit. Very light tannins

Unfortunately drunk without waiting long enough for the decanting to take effect. It remained quite closed, even though it began to open up a little at the end, showing great potential. A mistake that won't be repeated at the next keel!

Not yet tasted, because I leave my bottles, before touching them, at least 3 months in my cellar where emerges the massif of pink Vosges gré regulating the same temperature all year round (10-11 degrees) and emanating from a light natural irradiation of radon. Too beautiful wine to taste at reception even if it is probably already worth 4 stars. In 3 months, 5 stars! The Malbec grape, well grown in the Cahors region, is already worth 4 stars without having tasted it!

What a pity this wine isn't produced according to biodynamic or even simple organic criteria. Even if we want to believe in respect for the terroir, such a "grail" deserves the purest treatment. Average value for money for the 2016 vintage.

A deep, complex wine, powerful but not aggressive, excellent at least with red meat, but also foie gras, which can be enjoyed unaccompanied. Strong animal notes that may not please everyone. A wonderful discovery

A Graal Sanctus that lives up to its name; 100% Malbec, you can't go wrong! and a lot of finesse in this wine. Maybe not 15 years of cellaring in my opinion.... but another 4 or 5 with no problem.
