Divino Mundi à ChillyEstimated delivery between Dec 30, and Jan 1,
A blend of several complementary grape varieties and terroirs, this great dry Bergerac cuvée is undoubtedly one of the finest in the Bergerac region, reminding us that the South-West not only produces beautiful reds, but also great, racy whites, and not just in Jurançon! This 2016 presents a nose of exotic fruits and floral aromas. Round on the palate, with mature white fruit accompanied by a touch of minerality. An expressive, balanced finish with a bouquet of white flowers. 50% sauvignon, 25% sémillon, 15% chenin, 5% ondenc, 5% muscadelle. Sedimentary soils: the Sauvignon Blanc, which dominates the blend, comes from clayey terroirs with little limestone at the bottom of the slope, fairly late in the season and well-suited to the production of dry whites, while the Semillon and Muscadelle grow on slopes with clay-limestone soils, rich in minerals. Aged on lees with stirring of the lees. Aged for around ten years.
