Bergerac is a continuation of the Bordeaux appellation, with the same range of grape varieties. Its diversity of terroirs produces wines that are supple and round, but also structured and long-lasting.
The 1996 vintage produced some very fine wines. These wines are hard to start with, but age very well. The sunshine in September perfected the ripening of the grapes.
