Domaine des ardoisieres - silice rouge 2020the domaine des ardoisières is located in savoie on the slopes of cevins and saint-pierre-de-soucy. The domaine was founded in 1997 as a result of a project by denis perroux, the village mayor, to replant an uncultivated vineyard. This project took shape in 1998 with the 1st planting of the local grape called altesse, and the first harvest took place in O... ctober 2002. A few months later, denis perroux met brice omont (a winemaker with a passion for biodynamic viticulture) and michel gisard (an agricultural engineer from Champagne). Since 2008, they have been running the 16-hectare Domaine des Ardoisi. The estate is run biodynamically.silice rouge is made from mondeuse grapes purchased from neighboring organic growers.
