Domaines des lises - saint joseph 2019domaine des lises et equis is located on the Pont de l'is in the north of the Rhone valley. The 6-hectare estate is managed by maxime graillot (son of alain graillot) and thomas schmittel. They grow only Syrah, certified organic. They use traditional methods of cultivation, rejecting chemical inputs.saint-joseph is made from syrah grown in the commune of saint-jean-de-muzols. Part of the harvest (70%) is "grapped", while the rest is vinified in whole bunches. The grapes are not crushed, and vatting lasts 20 days. The wine is matured for 11 months in pièces and demi-muids, followed by 7 months in 30 hectoliter truncated wooden vats.cépage : 100% syrah

Saint-Joseph
The appellation Saint-Joseph is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine des Lises and its 0 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
