In a few words ...

This cuvée is made from old Syrah and Grenache vines. All the Syrah is aged in one-wine barrels for 1 year. The Grenache is aged in concrete vats for 1 year. Blending of the two, followed by 3 months' ageing in concrete vats. An ample, powerful, full-bodied wine, just like in the region! "In the glass, an intense black rasteau, open to cooked red fruits, cocoa and a few animal nuances. On the palate, greedy, generous aromas of prune and licorice, imposing density and richness, ageing tannins but without harshness, and well-adjusted oak. Something to look forward to over the next few years. (Guide Hachette)

Suberb wine, round with body, beautiful color, nose full of character announcing a delicate palate with enough tannin but not too much. Confirms an exceptional year. A must in any cellar worthy of the name.

A very fine wine with a real perfume of garrigue, the value for money is particularly interesting. Perfect to drink now, I don't give it 5 stars because it won't keep very long (2 years max, I'd say).

Cuvée 2014, a pleasant wine to enjoy around a barbecue, with good grilled meats. Powerful and fruity, with spicy notes. Can be drunk now, but I'm keeping a few bottles to rediscover in a year or two.

Very dark color, red fruit nose, very powerful palate (15°), blackcurrant, licorice, with good length. Very typical of the appellation. In conclusion: I'll have another!

Powerful, fruity, fairly tannic too, with little woodiness. A Rhône wine of good quality, but still 15°... a little too much for my taste, and I agree with one of the comments: it would be useful to systematically indicate the alcohol content.
