The LIRAC vineyards face Châteauneuf du Pape, on the other side of the Rhône. As shown in the photo opposite, and according to geologist Georges Truc, the geology is comparable to that of Châteauneuf du Pape soils. The soil consists of quartz terraces (rolled pebbles) and mixed red clay. Alluvial in origin and transported from the Alps several million years ago, these pebbles make up a valuable terrace for the production of great wines. This is a lesser-known appellation with major geological assets. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Harvest sorted, destemmed and crushed. Vatting for 18 days with punching of the cap. Aged 14 months in concrete vats (70%) and French oak barrels (30%).

The color is crimson with garnet highlights.

On the nose, candied red and black fruit aromas (kirsch, blackcurrant, blackberry) dominate. After aeration, floral notes emerge, with pine resin and violets.
