In a few words ...
The grapes are hand-picked in whole bunches. They are then placed in vats in an atmosphere saturated with carbon dioxide. Alcoholic fermentation then begins inside the berries, resulting in an orange color and more intense aromas. A few weeks after the harvest, the grapes are pressed and alcoholic fermentation ends in the liquid phase. The wine is then aged in concrete tanks.

On the nose, this wine offers a beautiful aromatic complexity in a fruity, spicy and floral register: lemongrass, immortelle, lemon, white pepper and broom.

IGP Vaucluse Principauté d’Orange
The appellation IGP Vaucluse Principauté d’Orange is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Domaine Fontaine du clos and its 15 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
