The winemaker

The Domaine de Galuval in the Rhône Valley emerged from the earth at the end of the 19th century. Between Cairanne, the belvedere of the Côtes du Rhône, and the village of Rasteau, Domaine Galuval grows under the benevolent gaze of Mont Ventoux. Nicole and Jean-François Trontin have been looking after the estate's vines for ten years, accompanied by Jean-François Farinet, an experienced Rhône Valley oenologist. Thanks to their self-sacrifice and know-how, the 39 ha of vineyards in Cru Cairanne, Rasteau and Côtes du Rhône Villages are cultivated using integrated farming methods that respect the environment and the soil. Their aim is to preserve the natural power of Grenache while enhancing its finesse and elegance, which is why Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan play an important role in the estate's blends, harmoniously combining their spiciness, freshness and delicacy with the typicity of Grenache.
