The winemaker

The Perrin family, known for its AOC Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, decided to expand, to highlight other lesser known vineyards of the Rhone Valley. Thus, with the Old Farm, they highlight three Luberon and Mont Ventoux, and the Domaine du Clos des Tournelles, they sublimate the Gigondas. The estate of Clos des Tournelles was the first drop to be built outside the city walls, in the seventeenth century on the remains of the medieval period. The field office was quickly linked to the production of wine, allowing the Perrin family winemaking very old feet Grenache, and thus produce highly concentrated wines with aromas, with a sublime mineral structure that must limestone basement. The structure is in turn conferred by marl sandy top layer, suitable for proper development of the vine. A bit of Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre just keep company with Grenache vines, but they remain a minority (less than 20% of the 10 hectares).
