The winemaker

Located on the slopes in less than one kilometer from the village of Vinsobres, the area Serre Besson covers four hectares. Its soil is a mixture of clay, limestone, sand and river pebbles. It includes an old building, now renovated, surrounded by vineyards planted in terraces, and oriented to the south: Syrah in the hills on the edge of woods, Grenache, Vignier, Cinsault and Mourvèdre on the lower terraces. The small size of the vineyards less than 4 hectares, allows an artisan work. The production of plots is limited and we effeuillons around clusters for a more intense color and better concentration. The harvest is done by hand. Grapes from different varieties and plots ferment in separate tanks, which allows an optimal assembly. We have transformed the treatment of vines for organic certification.
