The winemaker

Around 1925 his son Marcel RABASSE, who was her electrician and winemaker, took the land and adds 5 hectares of vineyards and olive groves. Then in 1950 Jeanine RABASSE, mother, wife Abel CHARAVIN. Together they give the small property a new lease 100% grower. In Cairanne vines and add the vineyards of Rasteau, which originated my father. The property then passed about 20 hectares. The tone is set, the sale of bottles grows and thanks to them the field is beginning to be known. It was in 1984 that I take the torch. My husband, Jean Paul Couturier, who is not working on the field, but who comes from a family winemaker, brings to the operation of the vines of God and of Violès map. In 1993, my daughter Laura joined the team. Currently the operation produces Cairanne (red and white) of Rasteau, the Plan of God, Cotes du Rhone (red, white, rosé) and Wine France. This represents approximately 40 Ha. The work is shared with 5 permanent employees including 2 half-time. Approximately 50% of sales are made in the vault, 35% for export and 15% with wine shops, restaurants, shipping, trade fairs. . .
