The winemaker

A great wine is born only of a land and a respected fruit. A highlight and a work ethic for Pierre-Jean Villa. He never gives up. In the vineyard, its only logic is to safeguard soil life to produce wines true to their terroir. In the basement, he accompanied the grapes with interventionist winemaking: indigenous yeast, respecting the lunar calendar for work racking and bottling. In the end, the wine must express this just and delicate balance between the typicality of the terroir and the ethics of the winemaker.
