The winemaker

The arrival at Domaine ... At the heart of our field located 3 km south of Tain, we will be happy to make you taste the subtle freshness that gives our Marsanne white Crozes-Hermitage or fleshy fruity, velvety and spicy Syrah from our red Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage and our red and White, and our Cornas. After 30 years in the family estate Paul Jaboulet Elder, as production manager, Philippe Jaboulet and his son took over a property Côtes du Rhône Septentrionales and a homestead.  Philippe Jaboulet is a lifetime in the service of wine; the vineyard is his domain. Vincent Jaboulet, oenologist, 4 years of study on the vine and wine, internships in France and the New World (Australia), represents the fifth generation Jaboulet.   The vineyards Crozes-Hermitage located in the municipality of Mercurol, the winery is surrounded by vineyards planted with Syrah for red (14 hectares 30) and Marsanne for whites (1 hectare 20). This vineyard is complemented by a wine from the Jaboulet family property (11 hectares 50). Hermitage: white, 100% Roussanne, delicate variety of great finesse, is located in the district of White House on a sandy clay soil, with granitic sand alluvium (0 hectare 7). The Hermitage red, single varietal Syrah is located on ancient alluvial terraces rocky (0 hectare 6).   Cornas: our property extends over 1 hectare 30 planted with Syrah, on a floor of granite sand, shallow south exposed - southeast. Respect for tradition and know-how of our family, generation to generation winemaker, combined with modern technology, allows us to offer the charm of wine and pleasure.
