The winemaker

Born in the heart of the vineyard, nestled at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the Domaine J & D is located in CAROMB south of the Rhone valley. Domaine J & D, this is a young field built in 2009. It is with passion that Evelyne Julien and Didier Arocas, have joined forces to grow grapes and make express a rich and complex soil. Domaine J & D, we believe in a balance between innovation and tradition. If our work tools has equipment and technology at the forefront of modernity, we remain very attached to traditional varieties through the diversity of terroirs of AOC Ventoux. To express the authenticity of our wines we take care to preserve the artisanal and natural side of winemaking. Our approach to a clean and organic viticulture is motivated by our respect for the natural environment to provide a high quality wine.   By gathering grapes from different terroirs of Caromb, Domaine J & D has the ambition to extract the best of the AOC Ventoux in developing quality wines with sunny tastes and flavors. The grapes are traditional and reflect the diversity of the AOC. Yields are naturally controlled and balanced vines to obtain optimum concentrations. The vines are treated naturally without chemical fertilizers or herbicides, the goal is to find a balance with nature. Domaine J & D is certified organic since 2013. The winery was built in 2009 boasts of latest technology but the practices implemented by the Arocas family voluntarily traditional home to preserve maximum integrity of the grapes. The wines are high between 6 months and 18 months in oak barrels for more complex wines. By implementing clean and sustainable viticulture, Domaine J & D is committed to safeguarding the environment while providing quality wine consumer.
