The winemaker

Rémi Pouizin has been immersed in organic farming and wine since childhood, and now lives with his wife Géraldine and their 5 children in the Vaucluse commune of Visan. Organic farming, biodynamic viticulture and respect for living organisms are at the heart of his DNA. "My great-grandparents had already understood the harmfulness of pesticides and ruled them out. As for my great-aunt, she passed on to us her knowledge of agronomic research", he explains. At the age of 16, when he undertook his first micro-vinifications, Rémi Pouizin opted for natural wines with no inputs, "so as not to erase the effect of terroir". And so, for over 20 years, Rémi has been making pure, balanced wines with respect for the earth and terroir.
