The winemaker

Situated on a hillside close to the Château des Papes, the family estate has passed on its know-how from generation to generation since the late 19th century. In 1989, Frédéric Charvin took over the reins of the estate, which now covers 15 hectares, and gave it its current name: Domaine de Pignan. Respect for the soil is a fundamental concern: insecticides and pesticides are banned from the estate, and the soil is worked mechanically. This winegrowing family is characterized by its love of the vine and the modern touch it brings to its wines.
