The winemaker
Domaine de l'Amauve: a terroir in the vein of the greatest
Nestled in the heart of Séguret and close to great vineyards such as Rasteau, Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine de l'Amauve is committed to minimally intrusive vine growing. The use of organic farming methods and environmentally-friendly practices promote the harmonious development of the vines. Planted on 11.5 hectares, the vines thrive ideally on clay-limestone and stony soils.
The wines of Domaine de l'Amauve: between suppleness and generosity
Most Domaine de l'Amauve wines are produced under the Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret appellation. "Les Merrelies 2014" designates a brilliant red bottle with purplish highlights and a fruity aroma. Its supple tannins and round mouthfeel make it perfect for an aperitif or cocktail dinner. Domaine de l'Amauve's white wine collection also includes "La Daurèle 2013", a wine with intensity and roundness. Its floral notes evoke spring, with a hint of sweet spices.
