The winemaker

It has more than 300 years that they make wine at Domaine de Bournet. Since then, the vineyard, planted on clay and limestone soil type Berriassien at an altitude of 110 to 130 meters,  has always been exploited. Vigneron Beaune, Gerard Sauzon leases the vineyard settles and develops bottled wine. It will operate the vines until 1992. It is then Xavier and Danielle Bournet who take over the management and winemaking thus restoring a new impetus to Bournet Domaine already known for its magnificent terroir and quality of its wines. Soon, their two son Olivier and Benoit resumed in turn operate the domain Bournet and enlarge the area by building, in 2003, an ultramodern winery of 1000 m2. In 2008, all production goes into organic farming.
