The winemaker

As an artisan winemaker, Vincent Tramier's role is to accompany nature in revealing the expression of terroir and grape varieties to produce fresh, fruity, complex wines and preserve the balance between concentration and finesse. Domaine de Coste Chaude covers 37 hectares, including 23 hectares of vines, situated at the top of a hill to the east of Visan at an altitude of around 360 meters, giving the wines a natural freshness. The vines are planted on south-facing slopes, amid oak forests and ancient truffle fields, and are cultivated using organic methods, agroforestry and viti-pastoralism to preserve this exceptional biodiversity and the expression of our terroir ("one of Visan's most expressive terroirs" for oenologist Georges TRUC).
