The winemaker

My grandfather Christmas Benedetti work the land he had inherited (1 hectare of Cotes du Rhone and 1.4 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape) that will lead to the wine cooperative of Courthézon (Cellier des Princes). In 1997 his son Christian Benedetti decided to take over the land and out of the cooperative to create Benedetti field. From 1998 to 2001, it was buy 4 hectares of Côtes du Rhône and 2.2 hectares of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, he decided to produce and market its own wine. In 2000 the transition to organic farming is a logical extension of the creation of the domain. More than a label or brand, it is mostly our personal beliefs and respect for nature, but also for people who consume our wines a guarantee of quality. In 2004 Nicolas Benedetti son Christian, joined the field after study viticulture and oenology.
