The winemaker

Respectful of our native soil, we do not use pesticides (over 15 years) or herbicide. The ground is half covered by a natural plant mulch on the vineyard of muscat. The grass is rolled through a rolofaca to pinch a part so that it dries out and let the other party to continue its cycle. The albedo of the soil and canopy is altered avoiding warming and too much reflection. A living soil is a fauna and a rich and abundant flora. Take the example of earthworms that are preserved when untimely plowing ingest 300 to 1000 tonnes of soil per hectare per year. These are the laborers of the soil. Darwin considers them the largest animals in the world both by their weight that equals that of other species together, as their fundamental role in the formation of soils. The landscape is combined expression of sensual pleasure: the look, taste, fragrance, touch and sound. It is with the same sense that you appreciate a product like wine. That's why we want to maintain the areas surrounding our vineyards maintaining or planting the Mediterranean species to sustain our environment.
