The Crozes Hermitage appellation is the largest vineyard in northern France, covering 11 communes in the Drôme region on the left bank of the Rhône. Formerly planted with fruit crops, this vineyard was granted local A.O.C. status in 1937. With "La Maurelle", Maison Bouachon reveals all the typicity and character of this northern Rhône Valley appellation, where the only grape variety authorized for red wines is Syrah.
