This wine represents what a wine story should always be. Indeed, one of the two properties that go to make it is owned by a childhood friend, and the other belongs to my cousins. We've been working together on this cuvée for 15 years now. Trust and friendship are the basis of this bottle. Blending the Syrahs of Vinsobres with those of the Villafranchian terraces of the Gard always produces a beautiful balance, fleshiness and finesse. Perhaps you'll discover the 2015 vintage with this bottle: a "sang de boeuf" color, depth, sap, beautiful round tannins... It's easy to feel the intensity of the 2015 fruit, which is truly a superb vintage. The ripeness was matched by freshness, and our Syrahs loved the hot month of July 2015: witness the magnificent wines produced in 2015 in the Northern Rhône Valley.

The appellation Côtes-du-Rhône is part of the region of Vallée du Rhône from France which include Château de Saint Cosme and its 1 cuvées. Spread over The Rhone Valley and its rich, complex terroirs. The region is divided into two distinct subregions: Northern Rhone (known as Rhône Septentrional) and Southern Rhone (Rhône Méridional). In the former we find strong wines in beautiful colours with warm, spicy notes, produced by vineyards that stretch 4,700 ha along the Rhone. The latter, with an area of 71,000 ha, is much more important, and this is evident of course in its annual production of red, rosé and white wines quite unlike those of the Northern Rhone., this region is 3 million hectolitres per year of red wines, rosés, dry and sparkling white wines, and natural sweet wine..
