Characteristics of the Clément Daniel terroir and vineyard


Naturally discreet, the winemakers at Clément Daniel are keen to keep a certain mystery about their estate. Sculpted by the course of the river, cradled by the warmth of the Mediterranean climate, the clay-limestone soils reveal their full potential. And because the quality of a wine also depends on the grape varieties used, the Clément Daniel estate relies on solid values. Only three grape varieties are used to make these Bordeaux wines: Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. Hand-harvested, their grapes are matured in oak barrels to produce two exceptional wines.

Powerful, dry, Clément Daniel's "Vieux manuscrit" is a red wine for special occasions. Weddings, christenings, professional advancement, ... When it's time to celebrate, it's never far away. Made exclusively from Syrah, "Grand Fauconnier" is a fine Bordeaux with hints of fruit. For everyday drinking, it's the perfect accompaniment to meats and grilled meats.
