The winemaker

Domaine La Suffrene is the fruit of a fine family history spanning generations. In 1996, the domaine got a second wind. Cédric Gravier abandoned the cooperative and chose to make his own wine. With the support and knowledge of his grandfather, he built a winery as close to the vines as possible, with the sole aim of passing on his knowledge. The two generations work hand in hand on the 60 hectares of vines in the Bandol appellation. The vineyard is spread over several parcels, but the most imposing is located between the two rudist massifs. Thanks to Mourvèdre and other traditional grape varieties, Domaine La Suffrene is a fine synthesis of its appellation.
