The winemaker

Domaine de la Courtade is the simple story of one man, HENRI VIDAL, who has been passionately in love with an island since his childhood, Porquerolles. Taking care to respect nature, he created the 1st ECOCERT-certified organic estate on one of the island's most beautiful plains. The birth of this quality vineyard, benefiting from an exceptional island terroir, began in 1983. Since 2006, the estate's development has been taken over by Henri's son, Laurent Vidal, who shares his father's passion for this exceptional place. Today, Domaine de la Courtade boasts 34 hectares of vines, grown with the utmost care and respect for the island.
