The winemaker

Terroir and vineyards of the Commanderie de la Bargemone

Although the Commanderie de la Bargemone boasts a 300-hectare garden, only 120 are dedicated to vines. On these clay-limestone and stony soils, the grapes ripen in optimal conditions. Producing mainly white and rosé wines, Commanderie de la Bargemone chooses its grape varieties with care. Sauvignon blanc, Rolle, Syrah, Counoise, Caladoc, Grenache, Cabernet sauvignon, ... Only the best genetic heritages are admitted to the Commanderie de la Bargemone.

The wines of Commanderie de la Bargemone

Commanderie de la Bargemone is known for its AOP Coteaux d'Aix en Provence white wines. Dry and fruity, they are the perfect complement to aperitifs and white meats. In a similarly festive spirit, the winery also produces rosés that loosen tongues as well as knots of tension.
