The winemaker

A classified growth in Provence

The history of the estate

The château is an ancient abbey, and Sainte Roseline was Mother Prioress from 1300 to 1329. The 11th-century chapel and 12th-century cloister have been listed historic monuments since 1980. Château Sainte Roseline became a vineyard in the 14th century, one of the first in Provence. The clay-limestone soil combined with a deep spring provide the vines with optimal conditions for development.

The Teillaud family

Bought from the Baron de Rasque de Laval family and completely renovated by Bernard Teillaud in 1994, the estate offers white, red and rosé wines with fine, balanced flavors. Aurélie Bertin Teillaud took over management of the estate in 2007. She then bought the château from her father with her sister Delphine Meunier in 2011. Committed to traditional know-how, she has succeeded in combining the best of ancestral skills while modernizing the facilities. She is developing a wine tourism vision of the business.

She is also committing the estate to a transition to organic and a sustainable development approach. The 2022 vintage will thus offer the first certified organic wines from the Sainte Roseline estate.

The expertise and commitments of Château Sainte Roseline

Demanding agricultural practices enable the cultivation of quality grapes with concentrated berries. The constant quest for improvement has led to the implementation of an innovative sorting system. Modern facilities now cover 800 m2, and the winery is equipped with thermo-regulated vats. Château Sainte Roseline is committed to sustainable development and aims to meet the requirements of the "vignerons engagés" label.

The aim is to develop practices that respect both people and the environment, with a social, environmental and economic commitment. Since September 2019, the estate has held the HVE 3 label, the most demanding label in terms of respect for the environment.

The wines of Château Sainte Roseline

Eleven grape varieties are grown on the estate: syrah, cabernet sauvignon and mourvèdre for red wines, syrah, grenache, mourvèdre, cinsault and tibouren for rosé wines and finally semillon and rolle for white wines.

Roseline Collection brand wines are high-quality cuvées from the best terroirs in Provence.

Cuvée perle de Roseline is available in several ranges, in white, rosé and IGP red. It comes from selections made by the estate's oenologist from Mediterranean terroirs and is ideal as an aperitif. Cuvée Roseline Prestige is a top-of-the-range wine selected and blended from AOP Côtes de Provence terroirs. It is sold in an elegantly designed bottle, which has won numerous awards.

Sourced from the best plots, Cuvée de la Chapelle de Sainte Roseline is available in all three colors. It is sold in an exceptional bottle and produced in very limited quantities. It's a fine, complex wine, worthy of the finest French wines.
