Built in the 16th century by the congregation of the Pères de l'Oratoire, who cultivated vines and olive trees, they built vaulted stone cellars that still exist today. The vineyard has been restructured to comply with the requirements of the a.o.c. Bandol. Château sainte anne is a historic Bandol property that has belonged to the dutheil de la rochère family for several generations. 30 years ago, winemaker françoise dutheil de la rochère was one of the first to introduce organic farming to the bandol appellation, and to produce wines with very low sulfite levels. Jean-baptiste dutheil de la rochère is in charge of vinification and estate management. The wines of sainte anne always have a floral, nuanced side that adds a great deal of finesse. Added to this is the influence of old vines on the wine. château sainte-anne has 14 hectares of vines, on clay-limestone slopes or restanques, with silica in the subsoil. Arid limestone coexists with areas of white sand, allowing deep soil drainage. South/east exposure. The grape varieties are 55% Mouvèdre, 20% Cinsault, 15% Grenache and 10%
