A blend of grape must and cognac, our Pineau des Charentes rosé is fresh and delicious. Intense red in color, its very fruity nose blends blackcurrant and blueberry, aromas that are also savored on the palate. The palate is full and round, with a touch of freshness that compensates for its generosity. The finish is very pleasant. A perfect accompaniment to melon, with a few thin slices of local ham. Serving suggestions: As a chilled aperitif (refrigerator temperature) with prunes cooked in lard. A perfect accompaniment to pheasant with raisins, Auvergne blue cheese and all chocolate desserts, such as a good chocolate fondant.
