In a few words ...

This wine is the fruit of a rare vintage and a selection in 3 late and drastic passages of grapes affected by "noble" rot. Thanks to this fungus, it develops a highly complex bouquet of candied fruit, honey, figs and quince. We recommend tasting it on its own, as it's only when the taste buds are still untouched that you can fully appreciate the concentration that makes Vouvray liquoreux wines so unique, and so much appreciated for their finesse and unique balance.

Tasting notes

Appearance

Deep golden yellow.

Aroma

Expressive, complex nose blending conflict fruit, quince paste and hints of honey.

Wine Fruity | Gourmand | Smooth | Spicy

Taste

Well-balanced on the palate, thanks to the resonance between its syrupy sweetness and its liveliness. Fruity (candied apricot, fig, almond) and spicy aromas fill out the palate on a very long finish.

Wine Aromatique | Fruité | Grillé | Long | Plein
