Golden yellow in color with an incisive nose, Vouvray Pétillant 2014 is a full-bodied, expressive sparkling wine. On the nose, it has all the attributes of a ripe Chenin Blanc, with notes of beeswax, poached pears, pear quince and candied stone fruit. Slightly smoky notes and Arabian spices are also present. Palate As ripe as the sparkling wine appears on the nose, it is juicy and fresh on the palate. The sparkling wine is lively, both with its juicy yellow fruit and with its typical sparkling mousse, which is not necessarily fine, but very distinctive. This type of sparkling wine has won its own place thanks to its balance between elegance and rural origin. After all, it used to be the simple sparkling wine of winegrowers.
