The winemaker

In the heart of the Loire castles, our vineyard is located in Couddes, 35 kms south of Blois in the Loir et Cher region, 20 min from Beauval Zoo and 40 min from Tours on the A85 (Saint- Aignan sur Cher exit). Our vineyard covers 50 hectares. We grow mainly Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gamay, Cabernet and Côt grapes. Our terroir is composed of a sandy soil over a layer of clay. The depth of the sand is fairly random, so we can find flinty clay terroirs in places. Touraine benefits from an oceanic and continental climate, which explains the diversity of terroirs in our region and consequently the richness of our wines. Our know-how is subject to a specific approval procedure; our wines benefit from the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée and the Indication géographique protégée Vins de Pays du Val de Loire. We offer a full range of top-quality wines (white, red, rosé and sparkling).
